Jill AND Mary

Jillian Shennessy (born 25th November in 1968) is a Canadian actor, performer and singer who made an impact on American television. Her most well-known work is her amazing performance on the American television shows like Law & Order (where she was awe-inspiring to viewers for three seasons as prosecutor Claire Kincaid) and Crossing Jordan (where she portrayed the lead character Jordan Cavanaugh). Hennessy showed her talent in films that were independent, including Chutney Popcorn or The Acting Class. Hennessy began her acting career along with her sister in 1988 playing the twins of callgirls on Dead Ringers. She briefly appeared in Buddy - The Buddy Holly Story on Broadway in 1990. It was 1993 when Hennessy left the realm of musicals to enter the sci-fi genre as Doctor. Marie Lazarus. The big break came after the season ended in the form of a role as Assistant District Attorney Claire Kincaid on the hit NBC drama Law & Order. Parker won an award in 2001, the Tony Award as Best Actress for the Broadway production Proof.
