Avery Sunshine

Avery Sunshine is an enigmatic artist, performer and composer. He combines soul gospel jazz and R&B in a distinct mixture. She has appeared on stages all over the world, from Broadway to The Democratic National Convention to the European music scene and the club scenes. Sunshine Her real name is Denise White. Although she is a resident of Atlanta currently, she is originally from Chester Pennsylvania. In Chester Pennsylvania she started out as a musician, singing and playing at the local church. The musical journey began for her in Atlanta in Spellman College. Sunshine was brought to the attention of all of the country during daily performances of four at the 2008 Democratic National Convention. Sunshine then went on to be invited to sing for President Barack Obama at his inauguration.
