Annika Charles Sorenstam, born in Sweden a Swedish professional golfer. She is regarded as among the top female golfers to ever play. Annika received the honor of being named LPGA rookie for the year following her finish third in the rankings. Annika became the very first player from outside America to win Vare Trophy. She won the US Women Open in 1995. She is the sole non-American to have won the Vare Trophy. Annika was also named top of the Money list. She chose not to compete during the year 2008. In the same night, she throw the very first baseball pitch in the contest. At the Suzhou Taihu Ladies Open, his most recent tournament in a playoff. Ladies European Tour, Ladies Asian Tour took over the sponsorship of the event.
